The only “extra” we charge for is a bike rack. This is simply because it takes us while to get it on and off – Plus we REALLY want you to remember it’s there when reversing!

Here's Our Story

David and Karen formed Snug Scotland 2018. The goal was simple: to provide a premium campervan and motorhome rental service to enthusiastic adventurers and lovers of the outdoors.

Having enjoyed camping under canvas and the occasional caravan for many years, David and Karen bought and fell in love with ‘Betsy’, a 30-year-old Auto Trail Motorhome. She was shockingly thirsty and struggled to make it up even the slightest of hills.
However, Betsy was adored by all and after their many adventures together, David and Karen were hooked.

After meeting so many friendly people and enjoying some of the most beautiful places while exploring the UK, David and Karen decided they wanted to share these experiences with others.
And while they loved Betsy dearly, they felt the experiences might be improved in newer, more luxurious campervans.

Now, with a small fleet of high-end campervans and motorhomes, they are ready to introduce the lifestyle to others.
Each camper is kitted out with all of the mod-cons you could possibly need to enjoy a luxuriously Snug holiday experience.

Snug Scotland is based in the beautiful village of Strathblane at the foot of the Campsie Hills and on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Less than half an hour from Glasgow and about half an hour from motorways North and South, Snug Scotland is ideally located for exploring Scotland, or further afield.

Scotland boasts some of the most breathtaking beauty spots on planet Earth. From rugged mountain terrain right through to deserted white sandy beaches. Whether you’re an avid hiker, cyclist, skier or golfer: Scotland has it all.

And when it’s time to relax, why not enjoy some authentic Scotch Whisky or the unique flavours of haggis?
Above all, here in Scotland we have true wilderness. You’ll always be able to find a secluded spot to park up for the night – far away from anyone else.

Oh, and before we forget… Betsy is sadly no longer with us. But she’s in good hands, introducing someone else to the joys of motorhoming.

This fantastic two berth Campervan built with the usual high standard German build quality. The spacious Sunlight Cliff Campervan is excellent for couples and features an interior packed with the latest technology and with a modern and vibrant interior.

Sunlight V66

The V66 has a good sized garage at the rear, so storage of sports and adventure equipment is sorted, There is plenty of internal storage, with a wardrobe and overhead lockers.

We want to provide a premium and friendly motorhome and campervan rental service for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking to escape into nature and explore the beauty of Scotland, or beyond.

Our new motorhomes and campervans are a big change from 30-year-old Betsy! German Quality, French Design and the Fiat Professional Campervan chassis. Our new vans are fully self-contained, each with their own toilet and shower.

Designed to be fully self contained, our vehicles are kitted out with central heating, hot water, MIFI mobile internet with unlimited data, fully equipped kitchens, luxurious cotton towels, bedding and duvets, camping table, chairs and barbeque kit.

We supply everything we think you’ll need to have the best holiday experience possible. The only vehicle extra we charge for is a bike rack – it takes a while to fit and remove, and we really want you to remember it’s there when reversing! We want a holiday in one of our vehicles to be as luxurious as a hotel room, as comfortable as home and with a different view every morning.
